I made the College magazine prelim. It included a title, date and price, picture of the main featured article and different articles within it. I think the layout of the magazine was good with one main picture and article and other titles around it. I will use the idea of having a large picture centre of the magazine with smaller titles around it. Also the use of lots of pink and pastel colours is appropriate as my magazine is going to be designed for girls.
I think that there wasn't enough pictures or writing to it so it looked quite bland and when I make my proper magazine I think I need to make it look more interesting to make the reader want to buy my magazine.
I have learnt from this task how to use the different technology involved eg. Indesign and Photshop. This will now help me when I begin making my proper magazine.
